We have a yearly programme of events including workshops, visits, talks, lectures, demonstrations and exhibitions. We start our season in September with Taster Days to introduce people to calligraphy and then go into a programme of regular Saturday workshops tutored by professional calligraphers.
You don’t need to have any art experience to start calligraphy, so if you would like to give the computer keyboard a rest and try out some lettering with a pen, or get an introduction to the subject we would welcome you to any of our events.
We meet at Harmer Hill Village Hall, SY4 3EE.
Situated on the A528, it is the last building on the right as you travel through Harmer Hill, from Shrewsbury towards Ellesmere.
Large car park at the rear of the hall.

Members receive newsletters (four per year) giving details of our programmes, news of calligraphic events, hints and tips, opportunities for calligraphers and letterers, reviews, articles on aspects of calligraphy and lettering – even the occasional joke.
